Project Title: The Prosocial Consequences of Gratitude
Description: This project examines the prosocial consequences of experiencing gratitude. Using cutting edge methods at the intersection of psychology, psychophysiology, and behavioral economics. I will test whether gratitude (a) sensitizes individuals to the generosity or greed of others, and (b) makes individuals more likely to pay forward and reward good deeds, and altruistically punish selfish deeds.
