Project Title: Making sense of mutations

Project Summary:
Prof. Navon’s work examines the social forces shaping what it means to have a genetic mutation. One project shows how discovering mutations can lead to the creation of new medical conditions with powerful alliances of experts and advocates. Another follows a trial of newborn genomic screening to understand contemporary genetic medicine.
