Project Title: Health Care Strategies Among Low-income African Americans and Mexican Immigrants
Prof. Raudenbush’s research examines the health care experiences of low-income minority groups, who often hold a marginalized position in relation to the health care system in the U.S. Specifically, she seeks to understand how members of these groups attempt to meet their health care needs in the face of significant obstacles to care. Her work uncovers informal health care strategies that have not been recognized in past research.
