Project Title: Understanding and Controlling Nanoscale Defects to Stabilize Next-Generation Solar Cells

Project Summary:
The project investigates the degradation mechanisms of the emerging class of perovskite solar absorbers at the nanoscale. Using model single-crystal thin film materials, the team will leverage its expanding expertise in synchrotron-based X-ray characterization to identify the structural and electronic evolution of perovskites under realistic ambient conditions and prevent degradation.
