2019 Hellman Fellow
Assistant Professor, Art & Art History
Project Title: The Work of Art Designed for Technological Reproducibility
Project Description: This proposal builds upon my established creative activity. The outcome of this will be the production and exhibition large-scale artwork. The Work of Art Designed for Technological Reproducibility will be the subject of my research and the artworks will reflect issues in society related to the mechanization of labor and the distortion of fact. Analog forms of printmaking and digital imaging technology will be in dialog with critical theory, art history and contemporary art. This Fellowship supports my research through travel, new equipment, supplies and a course release.
